What is Respite Care?

Residents of SIL residences have their own private bedrooms and share common areas such as the kitchen, living room, and bathroom with the other residents.
SIL accommodations can provide a higher level of independence for people with disabilities who do not need constant supervision or care. These accommodations can also provide much-needed respite for caregivers who are facing an overload of responsibilities.
How To Access Respite Care & SIL?
You can use the core budget in your NDIS plan to access respite care and SIL accommodations. This budget can be used to cover the costs of respite care, SIL accommodations, and support services.
